VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub offers space for collaborations that create a positive impact within the fashion industry and culture. Our innovation hub is situated in the heart of Berlin but our community network extends beyond borders. We connect members across disciplines and promote knowledge transfer and cooperation within the network - labels, SMEs, innovators, agencies, and NGOs.
VORN's Innovation Lab enables cross-industry collaboration to prototype and test innovative fashion solutions, with two key focuses.
One, the Design Academy co-hosted with Zalando enables designers to test innovative concepts addressing critical challenges in fashion, while receiving hands-on support through mentoring, training, and access to advanced materials and industry expertise. Two, SHIFT - The Microfactory offers a full range of knitwear services (from swatching and prototyping to development) with no minimum order quantities. It also provides workshops and R&D projects focusing on developing circular knitwear production models and tackling post-consumer waste through processes such as unravelling and reknitting.
